A Brief Introduction

I guess I've always been a storyteller. I still have song lyrics and
short stories I wrote when I was in kindergarten. In elementary
school, instead of having my GI Joes put in combat situations, I split
them up into football teams and had them play games. I even
published a weekly Sports Illustrated type magazine to document the
action. Then in high school, it was poetry. I would go on and on,
laying line after line, just trying to get the pretty girls to go out with
me. They didn't.  At sixteen, I wrote my first screenplay.  At twenty
one, I made my first feature film.  But picking up the camera to fill the
silver screen with images 24 times per second, I discovered my love
for the single frame.

What started as a curiosity quickly developed into a passion.  I
absorbed every image set before my tired eyes.  Learning from and
admiring great artists from Natchwey to Meisel.  Fascinated by their
innate ability to capture the human spirit and honest emotion.

Today I work towards a simple goal.  To capture the moment.  The
moment a model’s eyes clear and truly offer a window to the soul.
The moment an athlete realizes that this single moment means
everything.  I strive to capture that moment that goes by in the blink
of an eye.  The moment that passes at 1/250th of a second.  I strive
to capture the moment of truth.
